High Quality Weblogs

Some people have very long entries in their weblogs. These articles vary from pieces of literature to insightful revelations to absolute wastes of time. I don't want to waste your time, so I'll get to the point.

Other people have very long weblog entries and it makes me feel inadequate. They go on an on about books that they come across, and how they are influenced by them, or how a human act inspired in them a revelation that borders on the divine; while all that I have to talk about is how the sandwich I had for lunch sucked and I'm having trouble getting with really hot girls.

Does this make me a lesser blogger? Well, I guess so. Maybe I really am good at nothing, but those people are out to "express their selves" or to impress people with the "quality" of their posts. Me, I just have a blog to bitch about shit. I can't write about a book, I can't write about an experience, I usually can't write about an insight because I don't have enough arrogance to believe that people would actually be interested. What I CAN do, however, is to bitch about how my life sucks, so that in case anyone who's reading my weblog thinking that his/her life sucks, they would feel a little better because he/she has just realized one of two things: 1) my life sucks more than his/her life or 2) my life sucks, just like his/hers, so she's not alone in the shit boat.

So I guess, maybe, just maybe, I really give hope to men (and women. I would prefer to give hope to women, not men, because I don't swing that way.) However, I definitely leave none for myself.
