Alright. Moving on.

I've just shut down my old xanga site after more than a year of unuse. It's about goddamn time actually. Time to let go of old ghosts.

Soooooooooo serious!

Methinks my blog has become too serious and sleep-inducing with all the whining and the ravings of a semi-insane (this in itself is a fallacy... for those who need proof just leave a comment...) yellow dude. Hee... so I really dunno what I am doing here, I'm just sitting in front of my laptop typing whatever comes across my mind right now.

Writer's block.

Maybe I should quit this blogging shit. I never write anything interesting anymore.

It's really hard to come up with something funny when you're not happy you know...

I'm messed up.

Currently Playing: Rise Again - DJ Sammy feat Luna

Rise again reminds me to Xiulin. Reminds me of Singapore. She introduced me to DJ Sammy's songs in what seems like a lifetime ago, in a place that seems like a planet away. (It actually might be on the other side of the planet from where I am right now.) It brings back memories, all of them good, from a time when I was surrounded by familiar places and familiar faces. Times have changed and here I am, on the other side of the world, surrounded by places and faces as foreign to me as I am to them. My family is returning to the land of my birth. Very soon, I will be alone (with my sister) again in a land that I used to hear about. I am living the life that I had once just dreamed of. I can find familiar faces in the crowd now; I can see familiar landmarks now. I think I will survive here.

Seasons come and go. I will rise again.
Though it seems so hard, you will see me again.
Seasons come and go. I will rise again.
Deep inside I know I will be back again.

Fun with Wikipedia

A pitchfork is a tool with a long handle and long, thin, widely separated pointed tines (also called prongs) used to lift and throw loose material, such as hay, leaves, grapes, or other agricultural products. Pitchforks typically have from 2 to 6 tines and have different lengths and spacing depending on its purpose.
The pitchfork has also frequently been used as a weapon by those who couldn't afford or didn't have access to more expensive weapons such as swords, or, later, guns. As a result, pitchforks are stereotypically carried by angry mobs or gangs of enraged peasants. - Wikipedia.org

Perhaps I really have not changed that much at all.

I've been reading my chat history with Michelle (Lay, not Boykin) and realized that perhaps despite all that I made it out to be, I might not have changed that much. My temper's more mellow now, and I'm less obtruse, but it seems that when the rage flares up in me, I'm essentially the same. I'm the same person who shuts up and walks away...

Came across this quote which I think might be useful to everyone.

"You can't choose who you will love but you also can't just love who chooses you. Love is a matter of meeting the right person at the right time. Love isn't about becoming somebody else's perfect person, it's about finding someone who helps you become the best person you can ever be. Don't give up when you still have something to give, nothing is really over till the moment you stop trying."

Happy Hallmark Day!

I can't really remember what I was doing last v-day. It's really weird. lol maybe it's a repressed memory. Anyhow, this one's been pretty fun. Michelle's ex came to town for her. I thought it was really sweet of him to do that. Turned out that Dan had a little something for her too. For you folks back home, Dan's Carlos' roommate. Dan was like totally upset that the ex (name's Andrew) came down to town. Anyway, we were supposed to go to this nice Italian place called Provino's for dinner, but it was so damn packed. Now Aimee, Carlos' other roommate, had a class at 7 and it was like 530 already when we reached so we couldn't wait. So I was over discussing stuff with them and overhead Michelle say something like "well, everyone of us can wait except Aimee" and I thought it was just wrong... since it was Michelle's / Carlos' idea to have everyone there anyway. So Aimee suggested Thai and Michelle, Andrew and Dan rejected the idea, and Michelle suggested Loco's instead. Aimee was like "I aint come all the way out here to have loco's" and I kinda felt the same way. Didn't really feel like squeezing into a restaurant to have overpriced mediorce food. So I ended up taking Aimee to the Thai place in Opelika instead. To be frank, I've become fed up with Michelle not saying no and then eventually have to find out that whatever's been planned was not going to happen. Princess, it's a great way to make friends feel unimportant and lose them, in case you did not already know that. I'm not putting up with that kinda shit anymore so I'm not gonna be making any plans with her anymore, not that it would matter to her.

Anyway, dinner at the Thai place was good as usual. Left quite a sizeable tip for the poor waitress who was working on V-day :/ Went to Aimee's place after she got off class and devoured the Thai mango sticky rice that I was preparing earlier in the day. It was good, although I didn't think it was anywhere as good as Aimee said it was lol. But it's ok girl, flattery works hehe... Well... the rice was already 1/2 gone by the time i got there, which was really strange cuz the mangoes were still diced and in the fridge. Didn't leave any for the rest of them. Figured that if they didn't want Thai for dinner they wouldn't want Thai for dessert either.

Methinks I was mean today. Or maybe not. One thing's for sure, I was driving like a goddamn maniac. Dun matter. It's my car, and I dint hit anybody.

Oh yeah some moronic chick almost backed into my car. They stopped backing up inched from my car only after I've held the horn for nearly an eternity. This happened just one week after the stupid old lady backed into my car in the parking lot of Mandarin House. People in Alabama must have some sort of deficiency. It's common sense that you should be looking back when you are reversing. Apparently not everybody has common sense.

Oh yeah stole a can for Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke from Aimee tonight. It was soooooooooo good.

Well, hope you've had a great Hallmark Day. Mine was pretty good. I had a good time this entire day actually (despite some unhappy moments.) Thanks to Aimee for being my closest thing to a valentine tonight!

I can't wait till SUNDAY!!!

My car's performing too well for it's own good. After hacking the air can, the intake increased the boost to the level where the stock blow off valve could not keep up and started leaking. So I got a HKS SSQV BOV and put it in there, and that thing kept the boost in. Now the boost level's so high it's a little bit scary. The turbo fully spools up at 3.2k rpm right now and the boost level's above 14psi, probably somewhere near 16psi. Even on a dry straight asphalt road, at full boost at around 3.5k rpm to 3.7k rpm, the power output is so much that even the tires cannot keep up with the engine, and start screeching. That means I need new tires. Well, the treads on the old one are almost gone anyway so they would be due for replacement sometime in the next 6 months. Hopefully I would be able to find an internship that pays me enough for me to get 17" konig holes with toyo low profile tires.

Well, all that's just a distraction though. I wish today would pass by faster. Can't wait till Sunday. In fact I can't wait till Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Can someone please knock me out and wake me on Sunday afternoon? I'll pay you a couple of bucks.

Good times.

Just put in my HKS SSQV BOV in my car yesterday. It sounds like a railgun and can be heard 1 block away indoors. Hehehe.

In other news, I was at the dance competition yesterday. It was pretty tough sitting still throughout. I moved and they made an announcement for people to stay in their seats during the performances. Yikes.

The korean guy sitting beside me said "look. She's beautiful" during Carlos' and Michelle's act.

Yeap Michelle, you looked beautiful.
